About Us:
The Writers Portal is a free collection of short stories and poems that is published bi-monthly at the South Regional/Broward College Library in Pembroke Pines, Florida. It features a group of aspiring writers who meet the first Tuesday of every month (2nd Floor Conference room), at the South Regional/Broward College Library from 6:00-7:30pm. Members of the writer's group discuss their latest writing endeavors, read short stories out loud for healthy criticism, and more.
If you are new to writing and are seeking guidance, many of our writers offer helpful suggestions. If you are currently working on that aspiring novel or short story, stop by and read a few pages.
